The restaurant at The Black Lion Inn in Halland (close to Lewes, betwen Uckfield and Eastbourne) serves British food daily at both lunchtimes and dinner.
Example dishes from the menu include slow roast pork belly on apple and stilton mash; steak and Guinness pie; and parma ham wrapped chicken breast stuffed with pesto and mozzarella. A roast dinner is served on Sundays.
Previously known as Tarragon, a French fine-dining restaurant the restaurant was reopened in 2012 as The Black Lion Inn following its appearance on The Restaurant Inspector.
B&B accommodation is available in the pubs six bedrooms.
