The Bistro Biere in the Clifton area of Bristol isn't far from the Brunel Suspension Bridge and serves a Modern British menu in the evenings.
Ingredients for the menu are sourced both locally and from artisan producers.
There's an open kitchen where you can watch the food being prepared. Bistro Biere even bake their own bread. BYO wine on Tuesdays to Fridays and just pay a corkage charge.
Children are welcome and can be catered for either from the menu, or, custom dishes if needed.
Bistro Biere opens for dinner 5 days a week (Tue-Sat) and for breakfast & lunch on Sundays.
Although Bistro Biere is a relatively new venture (established in May 2010 as Clifton Kitchen before being renamed in May 2012) the building itself has quite a culinary history as in 1969 the legendary cook Keith Floyd opened the doors to his famous bistro here.
