Wow really good atmosphere, food was great, I've eaten at some real nice places and this is right up there with them, we found the atmosphere really welcoming and it reminds me of an old traditional style pub. With a modern vibe really clean everywhere and staff were really nice, couldn't ask for more.
Also great value you have to try this place you wont regret it.

Food was excellant service and staff could not have been better would recommend to everyone who wants a tastyand well cooked meal go and enjoy.

We live in Halstead and several people had recommended the food here. It was one of the best meals we have had - and the belly pork made it onto my partners top 10 list of dinners!
Lovely choices and a good plate of food! Will definitely be visiting again and taking our families.

First time I've visited since new ownership ... was made to feel very welcome, child friendly, great atmosphere. Sunday roast was fantastic as was the service. Great value for money. Will definitely be visiting again and would recommend.

We live local to the Bird in Hand and thought that we'd try it. We had a delicious meal, well presented and excellent service. Thoroughly recommended. We will definitely go again.

We had a very good eating experience at the Bird in Hand, Halstead, Essex
First class lunch. Food was fresh, tastefully presented, huge quantities and delicious. Would recommend this restaurant. Well worth a visit.
Only wish it was nearer to where we live.
