The Bella Roma restaurant is right in the centre of Wakefield, on Northgate which is quite near the bus station and near to Wakefields Trinity Walk shopping centre.

The restaurant opens from Monday to Fridays in the evenings and is a great place if you’re looking for somewhere a little individual and not part of a chain.

The menu is traditional Italian fayre with a selection of hot and cold starters, meat & fish dishes and a number of risottos and pasta choices. There isn’t a pizza in sight! Sample starters that you could expect to find are; Guazzetto di mare, Fresh shellfish soup with spicy tomato sauce, fennel seeds and crostini bread and Ouva Florentina, Spinach, egg and prawn in a creamy oven-baked sauce.

For vegetarians there are a couple of hot starters, risottos and pastas. Gluten Free pasta is available, just speak to the staff on your arrival.
