Basmati Indian Cusisine is a modern Indian restaurant situated on Devonshire Road in Bexhill-on-Sea, a few minutes walk from the seafront.
The menu offers everything you'd expect to find on a modern Indian restaurant menu including baltis, biryanis and tandoori dishes as well as a wide choice for vegetarian curries. For those who like variety (or just can't make up their mind) there is a Thali available consisting of small portions of tandoori chicken, a sheek kebab, a lamb curry, a vegitable curry, pilau rice and a naan bread. A vegetarian option is also available.
On Sundays there is an "all you can eat" buffet available all day, priced at £7.95. On Tuesday evenings Basmati run a banquet night, offering diners their choice of starter, main, side dish along with rice, naan and coffee for £11.95 (with a £1.95 supplement for certain dishes).
The restaurant opens for lunch and dinner seven days a week, and offer a free home delivery service as well as takeaway.
