I totally agree with the previous reviewer. I have lived all around the world, and been lucky enough to dine at many great Indian restaurants, but this one is so so special. 22 years since my first visit and it just keeps getting better. Keep up the good work boy.

I am very fortunate to have travelled the world as a buyer & have been taken to & eaten in hi class, hi quality restaurants & hotels in some of the world's greatest cities & i will include 30 x visits to Bradford , 3 x visits to Kuala Lumpur & 20 x visits to Toronto in that - as great Indian food cities.
& Whilst i had no complaints in the majority of these great eating houses - Every time i ate in these restaurants, i would compare the food to the great cuisine of the Ashoka in Bridgend , that i have eaten in for the last 23years since day 1 .... Yes BRIDGEND !!!
We are very Fortunate to have Great Asian restaurants in our Town & the surrounds & for me the Ashoka is Tops ...
They have a Superb menu , Great chefs , A Great ambience & welcome , they work well between the kitchen & the restaurant floor ,they keep the place spotless, nothing is too much trouble & The consistency on all fronts is as good as i have ever witnessed.
These all round High standards are overseen by Mia - Mein host !!!
In my work i have taken many a travelling representative there who is also qualified to judge , as they stay in many towns & cities. They are always impressed with all the above - Riccardo from Bologna ,Italy always talks of Mia's Sheek kebab even when we are in italy !!!
If you want something that is not on the menu , no probs Mia will cook it for you -
Now you may think this is a glowing report & Mia is sponsoring me....
Well before you make a judgement - check it out for yourself....
I even gave the toilets 5 stars.....
It says a lot !!!!
