The restaurant moved from Boar Lane on April 1st 2013 and is now within the Corn Exchange. Anthonys has won numerous awards over the years including the Observer Food Monthly Restaurant of the Year in 2005 and a Remy Martin Excellence Award.
There are a number of menu choices; set, a la carte and a tasting menu. On Friday and Saturday evenings, only the tasting menu is available.

There's a lot of talk in Leeds that Anthonys Restaurant is the one that is missed by the Michelin inspectors. I ate here a few months back and tried out their tasting menu.
You enter the restaurant through the rear of the premises and the bar is on the ground level. We were seated at the bar and offered the different menus to browse and to have an aperitif. The dining area is downstairs and I was surprised to find it quite quiet down there.
There were seven courses and I wont bore you with them, but the food was very nice. I wasn't keen on what turned out to be the restaurants signature dish of white onion risotto with espresso. I found the coffee taste bitter and not very well matched with the risotto.
The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the food and happy to stop for a chat.
