Ramsay’s Best Restaurant returns to Channel 4 tonight for a new series. Each show will feature two independent restaurants serving the same style of food competing for a place in the series final.
This year, there will be eight heats including a new ‘Fine Dining’ category. This year’s show also promises tougher challenges, as Gordon puts the chefs and front of house teams through their paces with awkward mystery diners and coach loads of guests needing to be fed within 2 hours. The final test will come for the chefs when they are asked to design and cook a dish in Gordon Ramsay’s own flagship restaurant – the winner of which will be crowned “Ramsay’s Best Restaurant 2010″.
Tonight’s show will feature two Italian restaurants, London’s Mennula (click here to book a table) and Bristol’s Michelin Starred Casamia.
Gordon Ramsay has also released a new book, Ramsay’s Best Menus
to accompany the series.
We’ll be keeping track of the competitors, and what they cooked, along with the results of each heat on our Ramsay’s Best Restaurant 2010 feature page.
